Day 1

Hi!
I’m back!  Took a short break after the last 100 Day Challenge and have decided to start a new one!  This time, I am challenging myself to do something fun, new or joyful everyday for 100 days.  Now this might seem like a no brainer to some of you out there but I want to really experiment with getting focused on joy.  What will each day be like when I know that I can take some time to do something fun?  How many fun opportunities can I attract if I am focused on fun and joy?  What will this do for my energy level?  For my family?  For my clients? For my business? 

So, welcome to the challenge!  In the following days, I will be posting what I have been doing each day and then occaisionally I’ll add some comments about how things have been changing or affecting me.  If you have any suggestions for fun things that I can do, please let me know!  For those of you who are challenging along with me, keep me posted on how you are doing with your challenge!  Have a great, fun, joyous day everyone!

Day 100!!

Hello!!
Day 100!! I did it!  100 days of yoga and (almost) 100 days of flossing!  Wow – it feels great and the first thing I did when I finished my yoga this morning was ask my husband for a standing ovation!  (He gave me one, too!).  So, celebrate, celebrate, celebrate! For those of you who have been challenging along with me – Thank You!  Your comments and emails have been much appreciated and I encourage you to celebrate as well. 

And, if you enjoyed this 100 day challenge concept you’ll have a chance to try it again in a few days!  Yes, that’s right, I’m starting another one on May 28th.  This time I am planning to do something fun, joyful or new everyday for 100 days.  Care to join me?  My theory is that the more we focus on joy, the more joy you will attract and the more joy you attract, the more joy you project.  Living in and projecting joy is pretty powerful and will go a long way to creating a joyful world (my mission in life!) so if you feel like living more joyfully and helping me create a joyful world, let me know!

Day 99

Hello!
Today is my birthday!  It feels like I am getting an additional gift as I think about the last 99 days of this challenge.  It has been so interesting and I have learned and stretched so much that it seems fitting that I would be ending the 100 Day Challenge the day after my birthday.  I started my birthday celebration with yoga first thing this morning but I ended the celebration with cake!  Definitely not yoga tonight!  Anyway, I will be remembering this birthday for a long time – the 100 Day Challenge Birthday!

Day 96

Hello!
This was a big day for yoga.  I did my regular set first thing this morning, (then I flossed), then did laughter yoga later in the morning and I followed that up with 90 minutes of flow yoga to end off the morning.  I am really liking this yoga – can you tell!

Day 93

Hi!
Friday…one week left in the challenge.  Will I make it?  What will happen?  I think we all know what will happen.  I wouldn’t quit now even if I could hardly move!  93 days of yoga and 90 ish days of flossing – I’m pretty happy with that record but it will be even more fun to say 100 days of yoga!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Day 92

Hello again!
Again this morning I did a shortened version of the yoga practice – this time because I am not feeling well.  This is the time when a person would most likely abandon a physical practice but now that I am in the habit of doing it everyday, I showed up and did what I could and hoped that it would give me some energy to cope with my “under the weatherness”.  I’ll let you know how that goes!  Next I will try flossing to see if that will help with the situation!  Never know until you try!  Have a beautiful day, everyone!

Day 91

Hello,
I had to do a shortened version of my practice this morning – I didn’t get up early enough to do the whole thing before I had to leave for an early appointment.  It still centers me, though and gets me ready for my day.
