Day 31 – Small Steps

Day 50 - Half Way!
Day 28 - Subtle Changes

I had a chance to go downhill skiing this weekend.  I haven’t had a chance all season so I was thrilled to be out for the day.  It was a beautiful day and the conditions were great.  The really cool thing was that I skied all day and didn’t need to stop for a break.  We stopped for lunch but that was because of being hungry, not tired.  I also noticed that even though I hadn’t skied all season, my body wasn’t sore the next day.  Hhmm, push ups and sit ups may be doing more than I think!

When I started out with this challenge, I wasn’t able to do more than 3 push ups and now I’m up to 24.  It has been small steps every day and now I can see how those small steps are adding up.  I don’t have abs of steel (yet!) but I have also noticed that my ability to lift and carry things has increased.  What about you?  Are you noticing how small steps can add up?

Joyfully,

Deb

Yes, I have noticed how small steps can add up.
My 100 day challenge is laughter – 15 sec at least,
a day. Even after a rather intense day here
between my husband and I, there is a softer energy
in the house. A gentleness that just wasn’t there
before. On days like that if I can’t laugh, I
insist on a 15 sec plus smile. Now, I am very
curious to see what changes I will notice by
    day 100!

  2. HI!

I have been doing morning push ups and it’s a great way to start the day. I feel STRONG! I have graduated to ‘big boy’ push up- can do 40 on a good day, but every day I do them- no matter how many- i feel good!

Love your 100 day challenge- FAB idea!

    Steph 🙂
