Day 50 – Half Way!

Day 31 - Small Steps

We are half way!  Wow, I don’t know about you but that seemed to happen fast.  At first, the challenge seemed like it was crawling along and now, all of a sudden we are half way through.  So, it’s time for a celebration!  The half way celebration (doesn’t mean that you only celebrate half way) – a way to mark your progress and inspire you to keep going!  Congratulate yourself for all that you have done so far and renew your commitment to the second half of the challenge.

Let me know how you are doing and how you are planning to celebrate the half way point!  I’m celebrating with a peanut buster parfait (made with cone dipped chocolate instead of hot fudge) from Dairy Queen – my favorite treat and favorite store!

Joyfully,

Deb

I am amazed we are 1/2 way! I am celebrating with taking some time on Sunday to go horseback riding!
Quick note on progress. Today I woke up ready to start
beating myself up with nit-picking. Then I felt myself
consider nit-picking my husband. We left the dishes last night, we had finsihed our chores (cattle) late
and had supper late. I woke up, didn’t do my morning
run, my morning writing, and thought I was going to
cry when I saw the dishes. Then I remembered laughter.
I went and got my (fake) red feather boa out, flipped it around my neck, and started to giggle, and tackled the pile of dishes. An idea I learned from attending Deb’s Laughter Workshop! Before I knew it my husband was giggling (he has never seen me do this before), and was helping do dishes. And the day started out
joyfully instead of crusty! Thanks Deb.
