Day 2
Welcome to the 100 Day Challenge!

Hello and welcome to the first day of the 100 Day Challenge!

The first thing I want to say is WOW!  I am so thrilled that so many people have decided to take the challenge!  All of you are very inspiring and I’m excited to be “challenging” with you!  As you know, my challenge is to do yoga and to floss.  I am happy to report that day one was very smooth – I did my yoga and I’m off to floss as soon as I post this entry. I decided to start with a basic sun salutation today and will eventually work my way into more challenging sets as I go along.

As you get started with the challenge please don’t worry if you are not completely sure about how you will do this or what exactly you will do.  If you haven’t decided on something yet and are still entertaining a few ideas just know that the first little while will be about honing and adjusting until you really feel like you have got it.

The other thing I want to suggest is that you think about a couple of ways that you can do a “before” and “after” measure.  Make a note of where you are starting and keep it somewhere where you will be able to find it in 100 days so that you can compare where you get to by the end.  For example, there are two poses that I can only hold for about 3 breaths before I really, really, really want to quit. I am keeping track of that and will see how long I can hold them after 100 days.

That’s it for now…thanks to everyone who has joined in the challenge.  Type to you tomorrow!

Good morning Deb et al. I did it too! I have started my 100 day challenge of using this excellent tool call Emotional Freedom Techniques every day for 100 days and more! EVT is a very powerful tool for helping to clear emotional issues that interfere with attaining one’s goals or changing patterns/habits. There is so much to this and I’ve been doing it for a couple of years now I think?!… but not faithfully! So, I’m taking care of me and even doing some surrogate tapping for a very sick little friend of mine. Thanks Deb for the challenge and the reminder that every day we create more and more for ourselves and others!
    Nicole.
